Dr. Stephanie Kjelstrom supports clinical and population health research through expertise in study design, statistical analysis, and interpretation. She collaborates with investigators on observational studies and randomized controlled trials, and leads independent research focused on improving cardiovascular disease prevention. Dr. Kjelstrom’s research aims to enhance predictive, screening, and early intervention methods to prevent cardiovascular disease, incorporating clinical, behavioral, and social-environmental factors. Her methodological expertise includes causal inference, predictive modeling, and machine learning, applied to real-world data sources such as electronic health records and national surveys. She earned her PhD in Health Economics and Outcomes Research from Thomas Jefferson University and her MPH in Epidemiology from the University of South Florida.
